YEREVAN. – The secretary of Armenia’s opposition Heritage Party National Assembly Faction, Tevan Poghosyan, believes that civil society in the country also needs to dictate the political agenda.

The MP noted about the aforesaid at a press conference on Friday.

“Since 2008, we have had several [such] cases (…) that were successful,” said Poghosyan. “I’m happy that the new generation [in Armenia] is able to raise issues.”

In his words, the fight against an increase in the electricity tariff likewise was political because when you choose “No to Plunder” as your slogan, you come out against the whole system.
