The Armenian national football team did not play badly, but we were higher in class.
France national squad and Paris Saint-Germain F.C. (France) midfielder Blaise Matuidi told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am, after Thursday’s France-Armenia friendly in Nice, France, and along the lines of the Euro 2016 qualifiers.
“There are high-class players in the national team of Armenia,” added Matuidi. “For example, [Borussia Dortmund (Germany) midfielder] Henrikh Mkhitaryan.”
To note, the Armenian national squad lost to Les Bleus by a score of 0-4 in the aforesaid friendly.
