Moscow-based Armenian businessman Samvel Karapetyan ruled out the prospects for his entering politics.

To the remark by the Armenian News-NEWS reporter that there are rumors to this effect, the new proprietor of the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) CJSC responded: “No, it’s not possible that I enter politics.”

On September 25, the “Tashir” Group of Companies, whose CEO is Karapetyan, purchased the ENA from the Russian state-owned Inter RAO Holding B. V.

And days after this business deal, news was disseminated in the press that Samvel Karapetyan might engage in politics.
