YEREVAN. – The message by President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan was clear and simple.

Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan on Tuesday noted the aforesaid speaking to reporters at the National Assembly (NA).

To the query on who will be the PM after the NA election slated for 2017, Abrahamyan responded: “This will depend on the results of the parliamentary elections. If the RPA [i.e. the ruling Republican Party of Armenia] wins, (…) the RPA will choose the PM candidate.”

And to the question on whether Sargsyan could become the Premier, Hovik Abrahamyan responded: “You recall that the President gave a very clear message: He will be President until the end of his term in 2018.”
