Former mayor Hayk Marutyan will run in the upcoming Yerevan municipal elections as part of the National Progress Party, the latter announced.
"The National Progress Party will run in the Yerevan Council of Elders elections to be held on September 17. We are happy to announce that Hayk Marutyan will head the party's electoral list. Hayk Grigoryan, a member of the party board, will be number 2 on the list," the party wrote, in particular, on Facebook.
