STEPANAKERT. – On Friday night, the adversary launched acts of sabotage along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces, informed the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army.
But vanguard units of the Defense Army went on to defense and pushed the respective Azerbaijani military forces back to their starting positions, also causing them casualties—at least two dead and wounded.
Sadly, however, NKR Defense Army serviceman Fidar Aloyan (born in 1996) was fatally wounded during the defensive battle.
An investigation is underway to find out the details of this incident.
