The date for resumption of the Brussels International Airport’s service , where two suicide bomb attacks wrecked the departure hall, has not been determined yet, says the statement on airport’s website.

The results of works on repairing the damage will be verified on Tuesday, March 29 , RIA Novosti reported.

According to the statement, during the repair work, which began on March 24, additional security measures are also introduced at the request of the authorities.

“The construction and fire safety inspection of the temporary constructions will take place this coming Tuesday. To try out the passenger flows, the airport is organizing a major test on Tuesday, whereby 800 airport staff will test the temporary arrangement and infrastructure for the check-in procedure”, the statement said.

It is also mentioned that the checks will be carried out in cooperation with the airport partners and the Belgian Federal Police Service responsible for civil aviation.

Obtaining the approval of the authorities will be required for the airport service resumption.

Two explosions have thundered at the international airport of Brussels in the morning on March 22. The third explosion occurred a bit later at Malbek station.
