YEREVAN. – The Karabakh conflict will definitely be solved, it is a matter of time, and the solution cannot be achieved without the participation of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh).

Member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia National Assembly (NA) Faction, Artak Davtyan, who is also Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, stated the aforesaid at a press conference on Tuesday. 

In his words, restraining Azerbaijan suggests additional security guarantees.

“Only we [i.e. the Armenian party in the Karabakh conflict] can rein in Azerbaijan; the Armenian sides will do their utmost to ensure that,” Davtyan stressed. “We shall be strong, so we may impose peace to the adversary.”
