YEREVAN. – No change in the operational situation along Line of Contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces was recorded from late Wednesday night to early Thursday morning.
The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army (NKR/Artsakh DA) informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that during this time the Azerbaijani armed forces continued violating the arrangement to cease fire, and by using rifle weaponry, a mortar, and reactive rocket propelled howitzers.
“[But] the DA vanguard units mostly refrained from actions in response, and took necessary steps along the entire Line of Contact, to reliably organize the protection of the military positions,” the respective statement reads.
