YEREVAN. – The first Armenian 360-degree educational film, which is developed by the Technology and Science Dynamics company, was premiered Friday within the framework of the 13th Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival, in the capital city of Armenia.

The first Armenian 360˚educational movie, entitled From the Center of the World a Part of One of the Universes, is designed for stationary planetariums.

The film proposes to travel to the past, then return to the present, and step-by-step study human notions regarding space.

“The Technology and Science Dynamics company does not intend to replace textbooks and traditional learning methods with the films being developed along the lines of the project,” said company founder Vahan Shakaryan. “Our objective is to assist the educational institutions in the learning process, and provide scientific public access films that can support teaching and make [teaching] subjects (…) more picturesque and easily perceivable.”

The film crew comprises animators, designers, pediatric psychologists, and educators.

During the festival, the guests were given an opportunity to “head” toward space, and spend fifteen minutes next to stars and planets.
