An elderly man with an object tied to his chest entered the Citibank in Moscow’s Bolshaya Nikitskaya street and announced that he has seized the bank. The object resembled an explosive.

Special forces, as well as the Minster of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev, have arrived at the bank branch, Life.ru reports.

“I have come not to rob your bank but to take it over,” the man stated.

According to the information, he is holding two people hostage.

The bank has been seized by Aram Petrosyan, a bankrupt Armenian businessman, the RIA Novosti  source reports.
