Co-leaders of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Selahattin Demirtas and Figen Yuksekdag have been among those detained by Turkish authorities.
Nine Kurdish MPs as well as co-chairs of HDP were detained on Thursday evening. In the morning Demirtas was taken to court. They are accused of alleged propaganda for terrorist organization.
