STEPANAKERT. - President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Bako Sahakyan on Thursday received members of delegations from the U.S., Russia, Canada, Germany, Argentina and Uruguay, who arrived in Karabakh to observe the constitutional referendum. The delegations included parliamentarians, diplomats, political figures, representatives of scientific-research circles and civil society, as well as journalists.

President Sahakyan underscored the importance of the observation mission carried out by foreign delegations in terms of consistent development of democratic institutions in the republic, presentation of objective information about Artsakh in various countries and development of bilateral relations.

During the meetings reference was also made to the issues related to the NKR state-building, domestic and foreign policies and regional trends.
