YEREVAN. - Foreign Minster of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, on Thursday received Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the South Caucasus, Ambassador Günther Bächler.

At the meeting, the sides referred to the upcoming regional visit of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office.FM Nalbandian and Ambassador Bächler also discussed in detail issues related to the involvement of the OSCE in South Caucasus, underscoring the importance of the operation of the OSCE Office in Yerevan, which is, in fact, the only one in the region. In this context, the Armenian FM noted that the steps aimed against the OSCE Office in Yerevan are also aimed against the OSCE. Nalbandian also briefed the guest on the preparatory work ahead the parliamentary elections in Armenia.

Apart from this, the sides referred to the efforts exerted by Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing states towards creating relevant conditions for advancing the process of the Karabakh conflict settlement.
