US Congress are trying to create economic blockade for Russia, said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, reports RIA Novosti.

"Our opponents in Congress are trying to crush any positive sprouts

in US-Russia relations. In January, they presented a bill that suggests to codify the sanctions which had been set by Obama’s instructions. 

Moreover, they suggest to expand and tighten restrictions and try to blackmail third countries to follow them. That is, they want to create an economic blockade for Russia, "Ryabkov said.
