YEREVAN. – Attorneys Tigran Atanesyan and Armen Soghomonyan were assaulted several minutes ago in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

The incident occurred at Atanesyan’s law firm, attorney Yervand Varosyan wrote on his Facebook page.

As per Varosyan, Atanesyan and Soghomonyan were attacked by School of Advocates Director Simon Babayan, Chamber of Advocates chairman’s advisers Gevorg Mkrtchyan and Vrezh Khachikyan, and by another person.

As a result, the two attorneys sustained injuries.
