The Government delegation led by Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan attended the restricted and extended formats of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council session held in Kazan city of Russia on Friday.

In his address, the Armenian President thanked the Russian side and his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev for the warm reception and high-level organization of the session. Referring to the development of integration collaboration within the framework of the EAEU, Karapetyan noted: ''Every time Armenia states that this platform is interesting, promising and important for our country and development of its economy. I would like to point out to several pivotal issues, which we discussed in a restricted format today.

The first one is the EAEU digital agenda. We are for the idea of digital agenda and attach importance to it. It is necessary to work in this direction, all the more so as operating systems are in place in our countries. We should consider this and ensure their collaboration, relevant tools, and in case of coordinated work we will be able to turn those separate systems into a common technological platform.

The second one relates to the collaboration aimed at the elimination of obstacles and restrictions. Today we were introduced to the analysis on what has been carried out and where. The Armenian side stated that the faults recorded in our country will be eliminated in the future. The work to this end is very useful, since it really diversifies our mutual economic relations.

We are for the adoption of work procedure planned to be implemented in the agro-industrial sphere and have already sent proposals to the committee for including the topics of scientific research work in a two-year plan,'' he said.

Karapetyan also referred to the single window principle, noting that it is quite an interesting tool.

The prime ministers of EAEU member states also discussed issues related to the deepening of cooperation in the spheres of economy, customs, industry and agricultural industry. A number of documents were signed based on the results of the session.
