Maria Mehranian, Chairperson of Armenia Fund, Inc., the US Western Region affiliate of Hayastan (Armenia) All Armenian Fund, does not believe that businesses in the United States are currently interested in the idea of investing in Armenia.
She told Armenian News-NEWS.am that, to achieve this goal, campaigning should be conducted with Armenians living in the US and Americans, alike.
Mehranian does not think that there is an impression that these investments definitely will be profitable for US-based businesses.
US Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills recently stated that US businesses may be interested in Armenia’s energy sector.
