YEREVAN. - Artsakh Air Fest will be held in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh, NKR) on June 17, the author of the Yell Extreme Park project, founder of the park Tigran Chibukhchyan said at a press-conference on Friday.
The festival will be held in the territory of the light aviation airport of Artsakh. A two-seater airplane of Artsakh, sn air-balloon, and a paratrike will take part in the festival.
Referring to the cooperation with the representatives of the NKR light aviation, Chibukhchyan noted that the NKR Ministry of Health has long been discussing ways to develop the cooperation.
“Artsakh has a wonderful nature and great tourism potential. According to the results of the decision, we decided to use the infrastructures of Artsakh. The airport is wonderful in Stepanakert: it is ready to host tourists and planes any minute. There are two small planes here, as well as an experienced pilot, Samvel Tavadyan. We thus decided to make attractive for tourists the service, which has existed for already three years and which mainly residents of Stepanakert and Artsakh know about,” he added.
