YEREVAN. – The National Assembly (NA) of Armenia on Thursday adopted the 2017/22 program of the government.

The program was approved by a vote of 64 for, 31 against, and no abstaining votes.

After the NA election in April, a new government was appointed, and it submitted its program for the next five years.

Under the amended Constitution, however, when incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan’s term in office comes to an end in April 2018, a new government shall be formed.
