YEREVAN. – The attacks on the borders and the ceasefire violations in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone are totally unacceptable, noted Czech Ambassador to Armenia Petr Mikyska, at a press conference on Thursday.

In his words, the Czech Republic is against an armed conflict and any attacks on the borders.

Mikyska stressed that the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group co-chairs deal with the Karabakh conflict, and that this is the sole format acceptable to the international community.

The Czech diplomat added that even though shooting at the borders is unacceptable to them, this does not mean that ceasefire violations in the Karabakh conflict zone are acceptable to them; he said they reject also ceasefire violation at the line of contact.

As per Petr Mikyska, the problem should be solved only through negotiations, and the conflict should be resolved pacifically.
