STEPANAKERT. – President of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR), Bako Sahakyan, on Sunday attended an event celebrating the 15th anniversary of Base Metals company.
In his welcoming remarks, Sahakyan noted that the company’s path was fertile in accomplishments and it entailed a source of pride, Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
“I would like to express gratitude to the company’s entire staff for their painstaking labor,” he noted. “I am confident that you will continue your work with the same zeal, especially against the backdrop of having major tasks assigned and long-term projects to be carried out in the domain.”
The President added that the state has great expectations from the exploitation of the Kashen mining complex, and that Base Metals company will maintain its status as an economic engine of Artsakh.
