During their talk in Paris, US and French presidents Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron will focus on Syria and counterterrorism topics, a White House senior administration official informed during Tuesday’s background briefing on Trump’s forthcoming trip to France.

Macron has invited Trump to France along the lines of Friday’s Bastille Day celebration.

During the visit, the two presidents will conduct bilateral talks and hold a joint news conference.

As per the White House representative, the relationship between the American and French presidents is very positive.

“There are some issues where we see the world a little bit differently,” the White House senior administration official added. “But many issues where we see the world more or less the same.”
