Two civilian bills on abortion were discussed in Polish Parliament this week, AP reported.

Project called “Let’s Save Women 2017” gives women an opportunity to make their own decisions before the 12th week of pregnancy. The second project “Stop abortion” is a complete abortion ban.

The liberal bill was rejected in the first reading, and its antipode was submitted for revision to profile commissions. In fact, both these decisions were adopted by the ruling Law and Justice party in Poland.

Law and Justice’s deputies showed that they are not interested in the fate of women, but only cold electoral calculation, noted representative of the committee “Let’s Save Women 2017” Barbara Nowack.

Kaja Godek, a member of the “Stop Abortion” public initiative, believes that their project is not aimed at provoking disputes in the society, but “to ban the killing of unborn children”.
