US First lady Melania Trump will not join Donald Trump on his trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, CNN reported.

The first lady's decision was based on “scheduling and logistical issues.”

According to the source, a week ago, Grisham said that Melania Trump would travel to the forum in Davos to support the US president, but Melania did not make official statements since January 12.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said on Monday that Trump would attend the forum, if the US Congress finally decides to extend the funding before February 8.

As reported earlier, Trump planned to visit Davos on Wednesday and make a speech on the last day of the forum. The presidential delegation includes 14 cabinet members and advisers, including Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, Commerce Minister Wilbur Ross, Internal Security Minister Kirsten Nielsen, son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner, National Security Assistant Herbert McMaster.
