YEREVAN. – The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has appointed a new rapporteur on Armenia, head of the Armenian delegation Arpine Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Ukraine’s Yulia Liovochkina will serve as a new rapporteur on Armenia.

Previous rapporteur Alain Meale’s mandate was suspended, as he was not elected to the British parliament. The mandate of the second rapporteur Giuseppe Galati will continue.  

Yulia Liovochkina represents the Opposition Bloc faction.
