The People’s Protection Units’ (YPG) detachments in Syria’s Kurdish-populated Qamishli town, which borders Turkey, have been supplemented by new fighters.

A total of 3,500 new YPG militants have completed their military training and started their service, according to Milliyet newspaper of Turkey.

The daily added that in the past, the US used to send a representative to such events.
