YEREVAN. – The Prime Minister of Armenia, Karen Karapetyan, headed to Gyumri on a working visit, from the capital city Yerevan Railway Station, on board the new Yerevan-Gyumri-Yerevan electric passenger train.

Karapetyan got familiarized with this train and welcomed the South Caucasus Railway company’s decision to operate it in Armenia, press office of the government informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He was informed that as of Sunday, this new train will operate from Fridays to Sundays as an express train, and the duration of the ride will be 1 hour and 59 minutes.

The train will operate free of charge on March 4, 8, and 11. Subsequently, a one-way ticket will cost 2,500 drams (about US$5.20).
