Washington has not informed Ankara of waivers in connection with the American sanctions against Iran, Turkish energy minister Fatih Donmez said in the parliament. 

According to reports, the US has issued a list of eight countries which will get sanctions waivers to buy Iranian oil. Turkey is said to be one of the countries together with Japan, India and South Korea.

Commenting on the reports, Donmez said there has been no written confirmation, media reports only, Anadolu agency reported.
