Armenian member of the Turkish parliament, Garo Paylan, has congratulated Armenia’s Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his political team on winning Sunday’s snap parliamentary election.

“The people of Armenia, led by Pashinyan, sent away the so-called ‘those who will not go [from power];’ first, on the street—with civil disobedience, [and] yesterday—at the [ballot] box,” Paylan wrote on Twitter. “I congratulate my friend Pashinyan and his friends, who achieved a spectacular victory.”
