Germany is concerned by the US decision to withdraw American troops from Syria as it could undermine efforts to fight ISIS, AP reported.
Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said on Thursday that "the abrupt change of course by the American side comes as a surprise not only for us."
According to him, “the threat is not yet over.”
He noted that "there is a danger that the consequences of this decision could damage the fight against IS and endanger the successes that have been achieved."
