The UN Office on Drugs and Crime spoke about the scale of illegal trafficking in human organs in the world, RT reported referring to Prensa Latina.
The illegal circulation of human organs in the world is estimated at $600 million per year.
The corresponding figures were voiced by UN representatives at the first regional congress on trafficking in persons, organs and tissues, opened in Guatemala.
