Serzh Sargsyan has not testified against Robert Kocharyan. This is what one of Kocharyan’s attorneys Hayk Alumyan told journalists on 13 March.

“Serzh Sargsyan’s testimony was within the scope of the case, but he has not testified against Robert Kocharyan,” he said.

When asked who else’s testimonies lie at the core of the second President’s charge besides Arshak Karapetyan, Alumyan said the following: “Arshak Karapetyan’s testimonies were not the testimonies on which the charge could be brought. This is simply an absurd testimony. It is becoming clearer that the objective is to solve the issue through military force, send the case to court and exert pressure so much that the court announces an accusatory verdict,” Hayk Alumyan said.

Preliminary investigation into the case is over.
