There is a need to work on the agenda for the upcoming negotiations between the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan. This is what Vice-Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Armen Ashotyan told journalists.

“Armenia can’t retreat,” Ashotyan declared, adding that he has suggested some kind of unity to the Prime Minister, not political consensus, regardless of political discrepancies. “I believe the other political parties of Armenia will agree with me. By no means does unity mean that Pashinyan will be our voice. However, this means that, by leaving conflicts aside, we have to find a circle that will unite us more than discrepancies do. At least when it comes to the Karabakh issue. This will lead to the success of the negotiations, and if they fail, the blame shouldn’t be thrown on the Republic of Armenia,” Ashotyan noted.
