One person has died after a road accident Thursday in Armenia.

At about 7:30pm, two cars collided on the Masis-Vagharshapat (Etchmiadzin) motorway, at the section of Hayanist village.

Garik Karapetyan, 33, a passenger of one of these vehicles, suffered injuries and was taken to a hospital.

And on Friday at 12:03am, police received a call from this hospital informing that Karapetyan had died without regaining consciousness, Police of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

An investigation is underway.
