YEREVAN. – At Thursday’s Cabinet session, the government of Armenia approved the draft decision on the package of bills on making amendments and addenda to the Criminal Code and on making an addendum to the Criminal Procedure Code.

The Minister of Justice, Rustam Badasyan, said this draft package is intended to set criminal accountability for criminal subculture.

“The objective of adopting this law is that the people involved in all of this be subjected to criminal account,” Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said, in response. “This is a very logical draft law because people of this subculture consider jail their ‘home.’ So, they should all be sent to their ‘home’ to live.”
