Lawyers of the Armenian second president Robert Kocharyan will appeal against the decision of judge Anna Danibekyan who has rejected a motion to release the ex-president on bail, lawyer Ruben Sahakyan told reporters on Thursday.
Ruben Sahakyan noted the decision was expected.
“I was convinced that the judge would reject the motion,” the lawyer said. “I am sure that the judge did not read what I gave her at the last trial, a five-page document.”

Asked whether the judge will be challenged, Ruben Sahakyan noted that he is a supporter of the challenge.
