Hovhannes Khudoyan, one of the attorneys of second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, today told journalists that he and the other attorneys had filed several other motions with the court that concern termination of the trial, permissibility of evidence and the composition of the participants.

“The judge has left for the consultation room to consider the motion for self-recusal. The court will probably consider the motion for prosecutor Petrosyan’s recusal. This motion is linked to crude procedural violations,” he said.

When asked if it is likely for the trial to begin by the end of this year, the attorney noted that it all depends on how the opposite side acts.
