YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Deputy Minister of Economy Varos Simonyan had a working meeting in Moscow with the Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development and head of the Federal Accreditation Service, Alexey Khersontsev.

The parties discussed the current situation, development trends, and future plans in the two countries in of quality infrastructures, in particular, in accreditation and conformity assessment and standardization, the Armenian Ministry of Economy informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

It was suggested to cooperate to present the respective Russian experience gained to the Armenian side, and to ensure the smooth operation of the single electronic system.

The Armenian side welcomed the proposal of continuous cooperation and exchange of experience with the specialists of the relevant structures of the Russian Federation, as a result of which it will be possible to regulate without barriers the commodity turnover in the single market of the EEU.
