YEREVAN. – National Assembly deputy Tigran Urikhanyan is leaving the opposition Prosperous Armenia parliamentary faction. The faction has issued a statement about this.

As per the statement, Urikhanyan submitted a petition to the faction leader Gagik Tsarukyan to quit the faction, Urikhanyan has passed a long political path in the Prosperous Armenia faction, but at this stage, the MP's approaches and principles are not in line with the factions' approaches, and therefore the faction is terminating its cooperation with Tigran Urikhanyan, who now will continue his activities as an independent MP.
