YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: As it is known, the head of the RA Urban Development Committee, Vahagn Vermishyan, has been arrested. According to the NSS [National Security Service], he had made arrangements with construction workers, or representatives of construction companies, and received a large and particularly large bribe of 1-2.5 million drams in 5 cases, both personally and through a close person.

And Jon Farkhoyan, the former head of the Yerevan Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee who was released on bail,  is included in the case of Vermishyan.

He is rumored to be engaged in serious construction work and was one of the bribe-givers to Vermishyan. Moreover, according to Zhoghovurd daily’s information, law enforcement agencies have uncovered Farkhoyan by wiretapping.

By the way, Farkhoyan has worked for many years in the prosecutor's office (...).
