Over the past day, 13,903 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the world, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported.

Thus, the total number of infections worldwide has reached 167,511 since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.

Moreover, almost all new cases of infection - 13,874 - were recorded outside of China.

WHO reports that the number of infections and deaths outside of China has exceeded the same figures in China and now this country will not be placed in a separate column in the organization’s reports.

Four more countries/territories reported the first cases, the organization’s report said.
