The Youth Union of Prosperous Armenia Party has issued the following statement:

“By the assignment of leader of Prosperous Armenia Party Gagik Tsarukyan, in the course of the next 10 days, the Youth Union of Prosperous Armenia Party will be conducting large-scale studies and analyses across the country in order to hear the opinions and stances of citizens regarding the draft documents of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia on removing the subject “History of the Armenian Church” as a separate subject from the curriculum and on incorporating the subjects related to sexual education in the curriculum.

The Youth Union of Prosperous Armenia Party expresses its concern over the propaganda against the Armenian Church and Armenian National Values and is undertaking an initiative to preserve the Armenian Church and Armenian National Values, and the initiative is called “301”, which is symbolic for the Christian Armenians.

The administration of the Youth Union of Prosperous Armenia Party will submit the results of the initiative to leader of Prosperous Armenia Party Gagik Tsarukyan, after which we will provide information about the sequence of our actions in regard to this issue.”
