YEREVAN. – At Thursday’s Cabinet meeting, the government of Armenia established the procedure for reimbursing natural gas, electricity, and water supply bills of the single pensioners living in public housing units, as well as the amount of reimbursable expenses for each year.

The matter was presented by the minister of labor and social affairs, Zaruhi Batoyan, who noted that the respective draft decision aims to alleviate the social situation of these pensioners.

Batoyan added that the relevant calculations were made taking into account the amount of utility costs for the last two years, according to which they amounted to 12,000 drams per month, and therefore 144,000 drams are enough for the year to fully reimburse the utility costs of the aforesaid pensioners.
