YEREVAN. - Armenia still has high ranking in the list of states with great number of refugees per 1000 citizens, said Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan during the meeting with Antonio Guterres, UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
The UN official expressed hope cooperation with Armenia’s government will contribute to solution of refugees’ problems, press service of the government informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The sides discussed co-financing of accommodation programs and prospects for cooperation with international donor organizations. They also touched upon the problem of financial aid provided to Karabakh refugees by the UN Refugee’s agency.
Speaking of refugees’ issues, Premier Sargsyan noted that lack of accommodation and unemployment are major problems.
