Citizens of Armenia today held a protest in defense of Mount Amulsar in front of the National Assembly with a poster reading “Beirut-Amulsar: Complicity of Government and Business”.

“Today there are several people attending an event to organize a charity concert dedicated to the disaster that took place in Beirut. What we’re doing today is linked to this. The disaster that took place in Beirut was the result of the complicity of the government and business, and the same thing is happening in Amulsar gold mine. It is still possible to prevent the disaster in Amulsar gold mine. We want to remind that it is impossible to solve issues through charities,” one of the protesters said.
