The President ordered to grant some of his powers to the Security Council, and it’s his right. Secretary of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Security Council Samvel Babayan stated this Wednesday during a meeting with MPs of the Artsakh National Assembly.

“This is totally confidential and is based on the presidential order. The powers are granted to the extent needed. The President decides how many powers it grants to the Security Council.

The Security Council is authorized to deal with nature protection, village heads and all sectors. There is no sector in which we are prohibited from carrying out our activities,” Babayan said.
