YEREVAN. – A person named Badri Bitsadze has not crossed the Armenian-Georgian border, sources close to border service told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

On Friday National Security Service of Armenia neither refuted nor confirmed Georgian press reports saying Badri Bitsadze, husband of former Georgian parliament speaker Nino Burjanadze, was in the territory of Armenia.  

Bitsadze was accused of organizing armed resistance against the authorities and organizing mass riots. Rumors have it that he has left the country.

According to Georgian Rezonansi newspaper, Bitsadze is hiding in Armenia. He reportedly left Georgia on Sunday, newspaper writes referring to its sources.
