Several Gulf countries have lost four years of cooperation with Iran due to dependence on former US President Donald Trump, Mehr reported referring to Iranian FM Mohammad Javad Zarif.

According to him, Iran has always strived to maintain friendly relations with the coastal states of the Persian Gulf. 

He expressed the readiness of Iran to negotiate with the countries of the region, noting that Iranian officials have repeatedly offered to conduct a dialogue with the countries of the Persian Gulf.

Zarif noted that a number of countries in the region lost four years due to dependence on former US President Donald Trump. The Gulf countries should know that they and Iran will remain in this region, but Trump will not be there, he said.
