Sunday's agreement between the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) is a success and, despite criticism from members of the Mejlis (the country's parliament), there is nothing dubious about it, said Iranian FM Mohammad Javad Zarif.

According to the diplomat, if friends from the Mejlis studied the recommendations from the Supreme National Security Council, their unnecessary behavior would not have taken place in parliament.

On Monday, the head of the Mejlis' National Security Committee, Mojtaba Zonnour, said Sunday's agreement between the IAEA and the AEOI contradicts the adopted law on the nuclear deal. The agreements suggest that after February 23, the IAEA will not have access to cameras at nuclear facilities in Iran, but this data will be stored for three months in case the US sanctions are lifted. If Washington does not return to the nuclear deal by this time, then all information from the cameras will be erased.
